Whether you like to play pop music, jazz, blues, rock or metal, you can connect your own effects to the MG102CFX and experiment away!
The colourful MG102CFX
You can employ up to four different channels with this amplifier, they are grouped per pair under two knobs. One knob allows you to switch between beautiful, clear cleans and slightly more aggressive crunchy sounds, the other lets you activate a rocking overdrive or engage a wicked distortion - it's up to you! The gain control and 3-band equalizer allow you to minutely tune the overall sound to your liking.
Play along to your favourite music
You can connect your MP3 player, iPod or other source device to the MG102CFX's aux input and enjoy great practice sessions where you get to rehearse your playing while jamming along with a backing track of your choosing. What's more, the MG102CFX is equipped with a headphone output so you can also rehearse in silence. Use over-ear headphones for an even more intense playing/listening experience or sound check before a gig in peace.
Endless experimenting
The MG102CFX has an incredibly expansive range of effect options. You can choose from four different channels for the timbre, and expand on their sound with a gain control and 3-band equalizer. Additionally, you can drench the sound in one of these popular effects: chorus, phaser, flanger, vibe and octave. Naturally, this amplifier combo is equipped with an effect delay that is available in a Hi-Fi, a tape, a multi and a reverse variety. Should you want more options still, you can always plug in your own external effects.

De voordeelbundels wekten inderdaad een verkeerde indruk, deze zijn nu ook verwijderd. Excuses voor het ongemak.

Er is echter 1 grote tegenvaller. Door het combievoordeel van bax wekt het de schijn dat je er een 2de speakerkast op aan kunt sluiten. Eveneens geeft de product omschrijving daar ook weinig info over. Helaas is dit dus echter niet het geval. Er zit maar 1 speaker output op. Dit vind ik echt een misser van Marshall. Vooral omdat ik nog een andere 4 ohm speakerkast heb die ik graag erbij aangesloten had willen hebben. Desillusie dus.
Een ander minpunt is dat er maar 1 handvat aan de bovenzijde zit. Een paar zijhandvaten alsmede 4 zwenkwieltjes had het geheel AF gemaakt.
Desondanks blijft het een aanrader!

Gaat heel hard en het geluid wordt mooier hoe harder de versterker dtaat.
Heeft een heel goede overdrive ingehouwd, waardoor 3 pedalen op mijn pedalboard overbodig waren (ruimte voor nieuwe pedalen uiteraard!)
Er zitten een aantal handige.dingen op, zoals de fx loop. Een aantal pedaldn klinken veel mooier door deze loop.
Daarnaast kun je deze aansluiten op een speaker. Ik ben van plan om, over een lange tijd pas, een 4x12 marshall speaker te kopen, en later daarna een head. Zo kun je langzaam opbouwen en hoef je niet alles tegelijk te kopen.
De reverb klinkt heel mooi op deze versterker, daar ben ik heel blij mee.
Tot slot wil ik gewoon even zeggen dat het een pracht ding is. Klinkt fantastisch, ziet er goed uit en heeft mij zoveel meer opties gegeven dat ik de komende jaren nog lekker door kan gaan.

een zalige versterker.
hij heeft een aangename sound voor een transistor versterker te zijn en het volume is beestig.
Tijdens repetities staat hij slechts op een volume van 4/10 en hij komt zo vlot boven het volume van een drum.
De footswitch is ook goed alleen jammer dat je zo maar 4 effecten in totaal kan opslaan. Je kan je effecten natuurlijk ook via de knoppen instellen.
daar heb je ruime keuzes tussen Delay, Flanger, Chorus, enzoverder.
