VOX AC10C1 British Racing Green Limited Edition

General

In response to the demand for high-quality tube amplifiers that require a lower power capacity, VOX introduced the AC10C1, their modern take on the classic and extremely popular AC10 that was discontinued over 50 years ago. Although the AC15 and AC30 both have that typically British sound, the downside of these models is that you seriously need to pump up the volume to get that great sound. For this reason, VOX previously introduced the AC4, but now they have come up with a renewed and improved version of the classic AC10 that is more powerful than the AC4 and offers an extra speaker output. Its size is compact due to the small speaker, which also makes the AC10C1 more portable than the AC4. This special limited edition comes in British Racing Green.

Top Boost & Reverb

Like the bigger models in the range, the AC10C1 features the renowned Top Boost tone circuit that provides that typical VOX overdrive. Of course, the AC10C1 also features reverb, and the 10-inch speaker keeps the AC10C1 compact and portable. Although this combo tube amplifier is lightweight and compact, it packs more than enough punch for small to medium-sized gigs or performances, especially when connected to an extra speaker cabinet. The sound, look and design all exude that characteristic VOX style.

VOX History

The VOX AC10 was the first amplifier to bear the VOX name. At that time there were no sound systems or PA's, instead, they would simply create increasingly powerful amplifiers. In 1965 the AC10 became redundant because it couldn't deliver the same amount of volume the AC15 and AC30 could, which was needed for the bigger stages. 50 years later, the renewed AC10C1 fits right in to modern society and the current needs, since it not only features the renowned and rich, clean and crunch VOX sound, but also offers an impressive volume. The VOX AC10C1 proves good things come in small packages!
