The VOX NT15C1 Night Train G2 15W 1x 12-inch guitar tube amp is the combo version of the Night Train NT15H G2 amp top. This full-tube amplifier has a class-AB design and delivers the warm, lively, sparkling VOX tube sound. It is equipped with three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power amp tubes, and the circuit provides an enormous amount of power as well as a broad timbre palette.
Two channels: Bright and Girth
This retro combo is equipped with a 12-inch Celestion speaker and has two channels, along with a connector for the optional VFS2A foot switch. The clean channel features a Thick switch, which causes the signal to circumvent the tone control for an extra boost, resulting in a thicker tone. This means that with two channels you can get any sound you want, from clean crunch to modern high-gain. Furthermore, the high-quality built-in reverb ensures a complete sound, so you can really get a lot done with this combo. If you want even more options for adjusting your sound, then you could also easily connect an external effect processor via the FX send and return.

De cleans zijn heel "Vox-achtig", maar kunnen door de EQ en dark switch ook omgevormd worden tot minder typische geluiden. De thick switch geeft een lichte boost aan het clean channel en zorgt daarbij voor lichte oversturing (mijn persoonlijke favoriete geluid!)
Het girth chanel (drive) is echt verbazingwekkend goed. Vox staat niet bekende om zijn goeie distortion, maar deze amp mag daar voor mijn part verandering in brengen. De klank wordt zwaarder en ruiger, maar niet "modderig".
De reverb is digitaal (i.t.t. de spring reverb van de AC-serie), maar klinkt in mijn oren uitstekend.
Het design van de versterker is zowel vanbuiten als vanbinnen geweldig: zeer mooi afgewerkt, goeie componenten, FX-loop, externe speaker-aansluitingen.
De service van Bax-shop was ook uitstekend.

Enig minpuntje is dat je de 'digitale' reverb niet met de footswitch kan bedienen, verder is hij handelaar, heeft ongeloofelijk veel punch en daar hij all tube is, een enorm lekkere amp!
