General
Featuring a 12-inch speaker and delivering 120 watts of power, the Ashdown Studio 12 produces a superb bass tone. Thanks to this bass guitar amp combo’s 5-band EQ, you have plenty of control over your bass tone. Not only can you adjust the bass, mid and treble, but you can also fine-tune the ranges in between. Using the drive control, you can decide for yourself whether to go for a cleaner tone or a wonderfully gritty bass sound. Made from poplar plywood, this amplifier is relatively compact and lightweight, making it easy to transport.
Ashdown Studio 12: find your ideal bass tone
Bass guitars are fitted with active or passive pickups. The Ashdown Studio 12 allows you to adjust the bass amp accordingly. By turning up the pre-gain knob, you can create extra distortion. However, cleaner sounds are also possible. This means you can use this bass amp combo for a wide range of genres. It features sockets for headphones, a footswitch and a line-in for an MP3 player, for example. This bass combo is front-ported, which allows the mid-range tones to come through more clearly.
