The Phil Jones Bass BG-80 Double Four Plus is a brilliantly portable combo bass amp that has even more to offer than its predecessor, the BG-75 Double. This 1-channel practice amp is equipped with a pair of 4" PJB long-throw full-range speakers that can handle the lowest and the highest frequencies, which you can tweak to taste thanks to the 3-band EQ controls. Other practical perks include an AUX input, a headphone jack, a line output for recording, and Bluetooth for pairing your phone for wireless music playback. Ideal for street musicians, this plucky little bass amp even features a USB-C port so you can hook up a power bank and play cordless. This is the red edition.

Phil Jones Bass BG-80 Double Four Plus Red 90W Combo Bass Amp

Needed a battery powered bass amp quickly and saw the PJB Double Four plus. BAX were the only guys that had one available, ordered from them and it turned up the next day just in time for a care home gig. Fantastic service. The amp is very good and powered from a power bank. Easily has enough power for my needs and the punch is incredible from two 4 inch speakers. I'm now taking it everywhere with me and rarely use the mains option. I didn't think I would use the Bluetooth input but it's great if someone wants to play a track from there phone at intervals. Thoroughly recommend BAX and the Double Four.

Ik zocht een kleine basversterker. Twee goedkopere geprobeerd waar ook modeling op zat. Is het toch niet voor mij. Daarom gewacht tot de Phil Jones BG-80 (Double Four Plus) beschikbaar was. Eigenlijk zou een Phil Jones X4C ook voldoende zijn maar die is in Europa nog niet leverbaar. De PG-80 is een premium versterker met naast BlueTooth , line-out, line-in en koptelefoon ook nog eens eens USB-C poort voor spelen m.b.v. een power bank met Power Delivery (nog niet getest).
Er komt een goed audio geluid uit en ook voor mijn Sire V7 basgitaar.
Het is een oefenversterker die genoeg power heeft om fatsoenlijk mee te kunnen oefenen. Waarschijnlijk niet voor een bandrepetitie me drum en 2 gitaren (misschien probeer ik dat nog).
