General

The Celestion CDX1-1430 neodymium compression driver is a high-quality 1-inch tweeter, which is loadable up to 50 watts RMS. It has a copper-clad 1.4" aluminium voice coil and possesses an aluminium diaphragm which, together with the elastomer surround, ensures low distortion. The CDX1-1430 also has 8 ohm impedance, 108 dB sensitivity and a frequency range of 2000 Hz to 20 kHz. For optimum performance, use the driver from 2500 Hz onwards. Here, the lower frequencies are reproduced by a woofer, or a woofer plus midrange driver in a 3-way configuration.
