AKG have developed high-quality microphones for all wind instruments. You will experience that this particular microphone produces a very clear sound at sound levels that would be too much for most microphones. The handy gooseneck ensures that you can attach the microphone to the rim of your instrument and aim the head to the sound.

The condenser microphone in the head is of a very high quality and can provide you with a great sound at high SPLs. Its wide frequency range of 60 to 20,000 Hz is partially responsible for this fact. It ensures that you will not pick up any annoying low tones. The microphone needs to be powered with the B 27 L power supply or a bodypack transmitter of the AKG WMS series. You cannot attach the microphone to a standard XLR connector in order to provide it with phantom power. If you want to be able to do this, we recommend the AKG C519M.

This ML edition is suited for a bodypack, as opposed to the M version that can be used with a phantom power supply.
