The KK 14 capsule features an enormous dynamic range, making it more than capable of handling any orchestral instrument. Even when miking up relatively quiet instruments like the harp, the noise floor is barely detectable. This capsule can even be applied to incredibly loud instruments like the trumpet or snare drum, and when connected via the MCM 100 module, it's able to withstand considerable sound pressure levels of up to 153dB without a hint of distortion.
