Prodipe AL21 Romanelli mic set for accordion
I did my first gig with this kit yesterday... My usual kit is a pair of akgs on the keys end, a set of internal condensers on the bass end, comparisons:
++ It sounded amazing - it was admittedly a different accordion+sound engineer to usual, but I think this was largely down to the mic on the bass though
++ Absolutely no feedback
-- wires. It's fine as it stands for studio work but the mic leads are really long, I suspect they'll get snagged and broken if I kep using it as is
By comparison, I recall my akg kit (2 similar mics and belt mixer) cost about the same (£250?) about 15 years ago and I think was no better than this.
