This Evelyn condenser stereo microphone by Ear Trumpet Labs looks like something you might find on HG Wells's Time Machine (1895)! It features similar materials and looks. Ear Trumpet Labs are renowned for producing great-looking microphones. The microphones also allow for great-sounding recordings ! This condenser duo is perfect for use as an overhead above a drum kit, as well as for other applications, like a string assemble or bluegrass band.
Features of the Ear Trumpet Labs Evelyn
This stereo microphone is a descendent of Edwina, a regular mono microphone with excellent properties, by the same brand. Either of the two capsules of handmade Evelyn have been accurately analysed to ensure that they're a proper matched pair. Evelyn's two 26mm diaphragms feature a cardioid pickup pattern. In order to reduce noise caused by shocks, the mic is equipped with built-in shock absorbers.
