The Masterwork Custom Crash Rock 16-inch is, as the name suggests, part of Masterwork's Custom series. This series is known for its all-round sound, making it suitable for almost all styles of music. For both advanced and beginners, this Masterwork cymbal is a great addition to your setup.

Custom Rock Variant

This 'rock' crash is a variant of the regular crash cymbals from the Custom series, which is perfect for pop and rock music. However, this does not mean that you are bound to only those genres with this cymbal. Even the 'rock' variant from the Custom series is still good all-round. The biggest difference in sound is that the rock crash is much brighter and also the pitch (note) of the cymbal is higher. The attack is a bit harder and the sustain also drops off a bit faster than with the regular series.

Affordable cymbals

The frequency range of the cymbals from this series is quite wide, however, the overtones are not disturbing or complex. All Masterwork cymbals, including this one, are made from a unique B25 alloy. Hand-hammered, of course! The cymbals are very extensively tested and checked before they leave the factory. This guarantees Masterwork quality, while keeping the price very affordable.
