General
The professional Paiste Formula 602 16-inch Thin Crash offers a light, vibrating tone that is ideal for jazz music. The transparent sound is combined with a divine, soft feel. This ultra-thin crash is a worthy member of the popular, delicate Formula 602 series. Its retro character goes well with every style of music and is as good on the stage as it is in the studio.
The sensitive sound of the Formula 602 cymbals
In 1959, Paiste launched their now legendary Formula 602 series. The cymbals in this range were the epitome of refined tone, which made them perfect for jazz, fusion and blues in particular. These clear, light cymbals are also suitable for other genres that require a detailed sound and delicate rhythmic support. The Formula 602 cymbals are made of CuSn20, also known as Traditional Bronze.
