General
The 18" Sabian HHX Thin crash certainly shapes a lower pitch than the smaller HHX crashes. But strike it, and the brilliant finish responds with crystal clarity, packed out by darker undertones - a prominent dark side that we'd expect from natural finished cymbals. This complex balance is due to two factors: the B20 bronze this crash is made of, and the heavy hammer pattern used to shape it. This combination produces an extra-bright crash with a hefty accent that packs fierce cutting power. It can also serve just as well as a ride.
