Sabian is one of the biggest and best cymbal manufacturers in the world, and can count itself as one of the 'big four' cymbal manufacturers (together with Zildjian, Paiste and Meinl). The company has its origin in Meductic, Canada in 1981, when Robert Zildjian (that's right) left his family's company to start his own business and named it after his three children, Sally Bill and Andy. Sabian's AAX series of machine-made cymbals possesses a modern, bright sound, featuring their 'Dynamic Focus', which allows cymbals to react the same at all volumes, increases clarity prevents distortion.
