General

This Sabian HHX Performance Pack includes four brilliant-finished cymbals that have been carefully matched to make sure they go well together. When closed, the 14-inch medium hi-hats pack an extremely articulate stick response and surprisingly dry sound while, when the hats are opened, the brilliant finish ensures a clear sound. Engage your hi-hat pedal and you'll get a funky 'chick'. Both crashes, meanwhile, offer fast attack and ample mix-slicing power. The 16-inch crash is perfect for accents while the 18-inch model can do it all, from fat accents to tight rhythms that glue everything together. Last but not least, you get a 21-inch light ride, which boasts well-defined attack and a long-and-dark wash. The bell is significantly louder than the bow, making this HHX ride perfect for impossible-to-miss accents.
