General

The DAP ADI-200 is an active DI box that can properly amplify line signals from sound sources such as guitars, keyboards and synthesisers with low sound levels. A DI box converts an unbalanced audio signal into a balanced signal, which is useful if the mixer is located a long distance from the source. This reduces the risk of interference by keeping the unbalanced piece of cable short. It provides a clean and hum-free signal suitable for sending to a mixing console via a longer XLR cable.

Powerhouse

The ADI-200 can be powered by phantom power, but in case your mixer cannot supply phantom power, the DI box also works on a standard 9-volt battery. In addition, it features a ground lift function to prevent any ground hum and a 20 dB attenuation switch to adjust the right volume. With the DAP ADI-200 DI box, you get a feature-rich and simple all-rounder for most common stage situations.
