General

Do you have an active instrument you'd like to plug in directly? Then the Mackie MDB-1A is the DI box you've been looking for. This active box gives plenty of headroom due to its active circuitry, resulting in virtually no clipping. But, that's not all! The 48-volt phantom-powered MDB has a number of practical switches including a standard ground/lift and a -20 dB pad as well as a polarity and phase switch, a lo-cut to weaken the bass and best of all, the merge. With this last switch, you can use the thru-connection to convert the stereo signal from your keyboard for instance to a mono signal.
