General

Peavey's Aureus 28 is a powerful digital mixer with impressive capabilities. Including EQ, compression, delay and reverb, you have all the tools for a good mix in one convenient package. Besides its ample analogue inputs, it has several digital options for control as well as inputs and outputs. For instance, it has WIFI, Bluetooth, USB, Ethernet and AES connections. Thanks to nine motorised faders, the Aureus 28 gives you ultimate control over your sound and it's even possible to save your mix to a USB stick. This way, you can always go back to that perfect mix!

Controls

With a 10-inch multi-touch display and software optimised for easy operation, you have all the necessary buttons at your fingertips. It is also possible to use a tablet as a second screen, for which Peavey has provided a holder in the housing, ensuring optimal and secure placement. In addition, it is possible to connect up to 10 devices equipped with an HTML5 browser wirelessly for remote control. For example, you can let all musicians adjust their own monitor mix, with it even possible to set a password per mix bus to prevent unwanted use.

Connection options

Peavey has equipped the Aureus 28 with 16 XLR-Jack combination inputs, making it easy to connect all your sound sources, whether you use jack or XLR cables. In addition, there are four jack inputs and two RCA inputs and digital capabilities. Besides the necessary stereo Main-out that consists of two XLR jacks and a control room-out with RCA jacks, it also has 8 additional XLR outputs, making it possible to control monitoring or external effects devices, for example. Phantom power that allows condenser microphones to be directly connected without a separate preamp and a headphone output finish it off. A real powerhouse, then, and the ideal solution for any occasion where a modern and professional sound system is desired.
