General

Lightweight and space-saving, the Casio CDP-S110 digital piano can just as easily be toted to lessons, rehearsals, and performances as it can be set up in a corner of the living room. Pianists are treated to the refined feel of eighty-eight velocity-sensitive, hammer-action keys finished with an anti-slip coating, a clear and easily navigated set of controls, and a comprehensive instrument that can be both mains and battery powered.

The Casio CDP-S110 Digital Piano

Designed for beginner and intermediate musicians, this piano has been stripped clean of any functions that would otherwise be left unused. As such, the Casio CDP-S110 is fully focussed on the essentials: ten excellent sounding acoustic and electric pianos, streamlined functions, and a useful metronome. Two 8 Watt speakers have already been integrated into the neat housing, but if you do need more volume, the CDP-S110 can easily be hooked up to an external keyboard amplifier. Around the back, a headphone output, a USB-B port that supports MIDI via USB, and an AUX input for linking a phone or tablet have been fitted, alongside a port for plugging in the included sustain pedal.

The Chordana Play for Piano App

The free Casio-developed Chordana Play for Piano app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play to further expand the potential of the CDP-S110. Via this app, the digital piano can be remotely controlled using a tablet or phone; pianists can read PDF sheet music on their device and turn pages using a pedal (not included); and developing musicians can enjoy guided lessons in which the rhythm and tempo can be adjusted so students can learn at their own speed. This app offers plenty more, and since it's free, it's well worth playing with.

In eerste instantie gingen wilden we de Fazley digitale piano bestellen maar na een bezoek aan de Bax winkel in Amsterdam (erg mooie ruime winkel waar je in alle rust kunt vergelijken) bleek deze piano veel fijner aan te voelen. Op de toetsen zit een beetje reliëf en de aanslag voelt heel realistisch aan. De klank is heel vol en helder, met een USB kabel eenvoudig op de telefoon aan te sluiten en te verbinden met de Casio Music Space app.

Piano is heel handig te koppelen aan onze VR bril, de Meta Quest 3. Met behulp van Pianovision kan je op een leuke manier Piano leren spelen. Ook de software van Casio zelf werkt ook prima voor de beginnende speler.
Het switchen tussen de verschillende soorten piano's gaat gemakkelijk en het geluid is prima. Zelf gebruik ik hem op batterijen en die gaan nu sinds de aanschaf (3 weken geleden) nog steeds mee, met dagelijks zo'n 1 tot 2 uur gebruik.
De meegeleverde pedaal werkt goed en verschuift niet op mijn laminaatvloer.
Kortom een fijne piano voor een goede prijs.

Ik sjouw deze zware supermooie piano overal naar toe. Als ik maar even kan spelen. De keyboard laat ik sindsdien links liggen. Deze piano klinkt zoveel mooier. Een echte aanrader, vooral met de draagdoek erbij.

Eerst en vooral, ik ben een pure beginner! Volg een piano cursus online bij Cor Bakker.
Had eerst een redelijk goedkope, opvouwbare piano die ik echter heb kunnen verkopen. Daarna na veel zoeken en vergelijken deze Casio S110 laten komen. Wat een wereld van verschil!
Toetsen voelen heel comfortabel aan met dat beetje reliëf op zowel witte als zwarte toetsen. Aanslag is even wennen maar voelt meer als een " echte" piano.
Geluid is gewoon heerlijk, zowel via koptelefoon als over de speakers. Aansturing via de app van casio werkt ook prima.
Kortom voor mij als beginner een prachtig instrument.
