The Korg B1-BK isn't just another addition to an existing series; it was designed from scratch. This digital piano caters to pianists who are looking for a basic instrument, but value a realistic piano sound and a convincing playing feel. Its Natural Weighted Hammer keyboard, which offers the same response as an acoustic keyboard, allows for a natural piano experience. The lower keys even feel heavier than the higher ones. Meanwhile, an advanced amplifier system ensures that the B1-BK's various authentic acoustic piano sounds are reproduced in a natural way. Other featured sounds include organs and electric pianos, and you can use the instrument's reverb and chorus options to add a spacious effect to your output.
B1-BK: tight sound, sleek design
Besides a sleek black design, the B1-BK boasts two internal speakers that are driven by a 2x 9W amplifier, and supported by a special passive radiator system that makes your bass tones sound extra tight. At the same time, a Motion Feedback system makes sure that your sound isn't unnecessarily coloured. Korg's B1-BK has a 120-voice polyphony, which means you never have to worry about dropping notes when you're using the included sustain pedal. Besides this durable pedal, the digital piano comes with a sheet music stand with practical page retention pockets that keep your pages securely in place. A matching stand and a 3-pedal unit are sold separately.
Digital extras
One of the great things about digital pianos is that you can play them at any volume. For completely private piano sessions you can plug a pair of headphones into the instrument's stereo mini jack output, but if you'd like to share your performance with others, you can also jack an external sound system into that same connector. Other practical features include a built-in metronome, pitch control and a partner mode that divides the keyboard into two sections with the same key range, so you can practise alongside your piano teacher, for instance.

Hij speelt als een akoestische piano en heeft ook heel erg goed geluid.
Ik zat vooraf erg te twijfelen tussen de Korg B1 en de Yamaha P-45. Het geluid van de Korg is echter veel beter. Dus dat gaf de doorslag. Er zitten gewoon 2 betere speakers in. Je kunt de Korg alleen niet aansluiten op de computer. Dit was voor mij echter geen vereiste.
