Korg Havian 30: functionality
The Havian 30 features more than 950 different sounds, including GM 2 and 64 drum kits, so there's no need to feel limited to a specific style or genre. Over 450 styles are at your disposal as well, which make your feel like you're playing with an actual band. Five different parts accompany you in a natural way - whether you play simple or more complex chord progressions, the band will follow you without fault. Thanks to the presence of a sequencer, you can record your own songs, and it's possible to convert the files to MIDI, so you can transfer them to your computer. Even MP3 files are effortlessly played back by this Korg digital piano.
Learning how to play
If you're still learning how to play the piano, the Korg Havian 30 is an excellent partner, as it features dedicated piano styles that help you practise. A 5-inch colour display tells you what to do. Another practical option for beginners is the SongBook: a large online data base that can be installed on your PC using free software from the Korg site. Once you've downloaded it, it's easy to pick your favourite songs and synchronise them with the Havian 30. You can even use your iPad to do that, provided you own a Camera Connection Kit.
