General

The HP-702 digital piano is supported by Roland's own SuperNATURAL sound generator. This very particular technology doesn't reproduce sound by playing back samples, but generates the selected piano sound in real-time for an immersive playing experience. Combined with the PHA-4 Standard keyboard, Hammer Action keys, set of three integrated pedals and the stunning wooden housing, this digital piano has all the authentic feel of an acoustic upright. This version of the Roland HP-702 is finished in White.

The Roland HP702: The Sound

While this Roland digital piano is fitted with two speakers that can comfortably fill a good sized living room with rich sound, a pair of headphone outputs are also included for quieter practice. When a set of headphones is connected, a special 3D-effect is engaged so that the player still gets to enjoy excellent sound without bothering anyone. This comprehensive instrument is also loaded with 324 sounds, including a host of piano sounds, electric pianos, strings and organs, all of which can be combined as desired using Dual and Split mode.

Bluetooth

Playing along with your favourite music is made simple by coupling a smartphone or tablet to the HP702 via Bluetooth so you could even use this piano as an attractive entertainment system when practice is over. The Bluetooth function can also be used in combination with a number of freely available apps designed to improve playing technique, including the Piano Every Day app from Roland.

Especially for Children

In the design of this piano, Roland have also been very eager to make sure that children are able to enjoy the HP702. As such, there are a few features included that might please the parents as well, as this piano thankfully turns itself off automatically as soon as the lid is closed and allows a volume limit to be set on both the integrated speakers and any connected headphones.
