General

The Yamaha Clavinova CLP575R is a venerable digital piano with a Dark Rosewood finish. The housing is much lighter and more compact than a traditional acoustic piano, and it contains the latest technology, along with a 160W speaker system. No living room is too large to profit from this lovely addition, and of course you'll profit most of all. When you play fortissimo, it's going to sound fortissimo. The 256-voice polyphony is double what is typically offered by most synthesizers, and that means that you'll never have to worry about note stealing again. No matter how intensely you play, your music will sound crystal clear, authentic and precise. This sounds logical - and it is - but it wasn't always this way with digital pianos, especially for vigorous passages with a lot of pedal use.

Clavinova CLP-575R: VRM modelling technology

The piano sound features characteristic resonance of strings and housing, just like you get with an acoustic piano, thanks to Virtual Resonance Modeling technology. Of course, to comfortably create music you need an excellent keyboard, and this Clavinova more than delivers with the Natural Wood X keyboard. The 88 keys are cut from the best wood and equipped with Linear Graded Hammers, meaning that no key has the same weight. The keyboard is additionally equipped with Escapement, which simulates the hammer rebound 'click' that you experience with a grand piano. Furthermore, the GP Response damper pedal has practically the same action curve as that of a grand piano, resulting in an especially realistic emulation of the feel of an acoustic piano. All of this is supported by a number of digital auxiliary features and recording possibilities.

A good piano sound inspires, and it can be the decisive factor in the emotion someone gets when listening to you play. That's why this digital piano contains samples from two absolute top instruments. From their own brand, Yamaha has sampled the CFX - the best concert grand the brand has to offer. Along with that, you also have the sound of the majestic Bosendorfer Imperial - an enormous concert grand with a totally different character than that of the CFX. Both instruments were tuned to perfection when samples were taken of every key, for a sublime realism and a lively sound If you know the price of these incredible grand pianos, then you know that this Clavinova is worth its weight in gold.

Yamaha Extends Temporary 5-Year Guarantee on Clavinova and Modus

More than a year ago, Yamaha announced they would temporarily be extending the guarantee period of the Clavinova and the Modus models from three to five years. This offer was intended to end on March 31st of 2016, but Yamaha made it known today that they will be extending that offer for another two years. That means you have until march 31st, 2018 to take advantage of a whopping five-year guarantee when you purchase a digital piano from the Yamaha CLP or CVP series, or a Modus F02.
