The Yamaha P-255 B is a beautifully designed and compact black digital piano with an incredibly realistic sound and feel. The most luxurious model from the Yamaha P series features a Pure CF Sound Engine and an 88-key Graded Hammer keyboard with a realistic ivory feel. The P-255 is easy to navigate via the comprehensive operation panel or via the control app on your iPhone or iPad. Despite all of this functionality and the weighted keyboard, the P-255 is actually still relatively lightweight, making it great for use at home or on stage.
Yamaha P-255 B: realistic playing experience
The most important aspect of a digital piano is the way it feels when you're playing, and Yamaha of course paid special attention to this during development. The Pure CF Sound Engine features samples from high-end Yamaha concert grand pianos and takes sustain, attack, damper and string resonance all into account. You can be sure that this results in a life-like piano sound. Additionally, the Graded Hammer keyboard features keys with synthetic ivory tops for a natural playing feel, and just like acoustic pianos the lowest keys are heavier than the highest so you fingers glide easily along the keyboard as you play.
Everything under control
The Yamaha P-255 is chock full of functions that are easy for you to navigate via the comprehensive control panel. All functions are within hand's reach, such as sound choice, rhythm section, effects and volume control. It's even possible for you to record your playing as an audio file via MIDI, because the P-255 has a handy USB port. The digital piano features over 24 sounds, 10 rhythms and internal effects that are powerfully reproduced in great detail via the exceptional internal speakers. You can also practice in silence thanks to the two headphone outputs.

Wauw wat een prachtige digitale piano. Makkelijk in gebruik en wat een geluid!!!
De aanslag gevoeligheid van de piano was voor mij erg belangrijk, omdat je hiermee je gevoel /emotie's kunt uitdrukken in je muziek.
Ik heb er geen woorden voor, ik ben er zo blij mee.

Dus de piano moet dan maar naar mij toekomen. Na een dik jaar heb ik wel weer mijn benen en voeten een beetje kunnen bewegen om het pedaal te kunnen gebruiken. Met net voldoende kracht.
Daardoor ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een vervanger die ook mij het gevoel van een akoestische piano weet terug te geven, de markt zit vol van digitale piano's en toch via allerlei youtube demo's ben ik op de Yamaha P-255 uitgekomen.
Het is ook buiten mijn verwachting dat het mij weer allemaal lukt, en zeker de warme klank weer te voel.
De keuze om voor Bax te kiezen was niet zo moeilijk, eerdere ervaring met ze en ook snelle levering staat voorop.
Een aanrader als je nog twijfeld!
