General

If you've always wanted to learn to play the piano, but find a piano too big, Roland offers you the solution. The GO:PIANO is a digital model with 61 keys. This means a compact size and therefore easy to move around. So it looks like an ordinary keyboard, but has somewhat heavier keys. Not as heavy as an ordinary piano, but certainly not too light for the pianists among us. In terms of sound, it is not inferior to Roland's premium models. Each note has its own character and each key responds to every touch. The GO:PIANO includes sounds of pianos, electric pianos and organs.

Bluetooth

The advantage of a digital piano is that you can also build convenient, modern technology into it. For instance, you can connect this piano to Bluetooth. This allows you to easily connect to apps on smartphones or tablets, for instance for a handy lesson programme. Here, you can also use the built-in metronome and recorder.

Use anywhere

As mentioned, the GO:PIANO has a compact size. But to really play anywhere, you also need to be able to do without a power adapter. And you can! By inserting six AA batteries (not included), you can go anywhere with this piano. Of course, you can also plug in headphones so you don't have to disturb anyone. In doing so, the sound from the built-in speakers is muted instantly.

Voelt aan als goedkoop ding en dat is het ook, geluid erg dof en mat, basgeluiden moeilijk te onderscheiden, klinkt als een opgeblazen box, imitatieleder bekleding oordoppen en hoofdbeugel gaat snel schilferen en laat stukjes los.

Zocht een standaard voor een enkel keyboard, om mee te nemen naar keyboard workshops, waar ik niet beide keyboards mee wil nemen. Maar hij moest wel stabiel zijn, want ik houd niet van dat mijn keyboard teveel beweegt tijdens het spelen, dit verstoort mijn spier geheugen tijdens spelen, Deze standaard is zeer betaalbaar, en echt super stabiel. Hij voldoet voor die prijs boven verwachting, en heeft een zeer snel en degelijk systeem om hem op hoogte af te stellen. Super aanwinst voor mijn hobby.

Mijn nu 74-jarige broer kreeg 5 jaar geleden een hersenontsteking, met als gevolg een acuut beschadigd kortetermijngeheugen. Hij kan vanaf dat moment niets meer in zijn geheugen opslaan van slechts enkele minuten geleden, maakt dus ook geen nieuwe herinneringen meer. Hij weet nog dat wij als kleine kinderen thuis wekelijks pianoles kregen van mijnheer Werner, maar dat hij er zelf niets van kan. Hij krijgt in het verpleeghuis per week 45 minuten 1- op-1 begeleiding met muziektherapeut Erik in het muzieklokaal. Daar geniet hij met volle teugen van, maar is dat helaas daarna weer vergeten.
Ik heb in december deze compacte digitale piano voor hem aangeschaft, zodat hij op zijn eigen kamertje zelf wat kan proberen. Helaas neemt hij zelf nooit het initiatief, heeft sturing nodig. Maar de piano staat er en als ik hem help, speelt hij met één vinger simpele liedjes na. Als er toevallig iemand bij hem op bezoek zou komen met een beetje kennis van muzieknoten, dan hebben ze met deze Roland GO-61P een prima instrument om op te spelen!
