Yamaha unveil a new range of Arius digital pianos: the YDP-165, YDP-145, YDP-S35 and the YDP-S55. Essentially featuring the same range of options and the same enhanced note-off velocity, the difference between these models lies in the size of the housing. In the Yamaha Arius YDP-165 piano, you're looking at the largest and heaviest of the new additions. Both the YDP-165 and YDP-S55 also boast the most extensive sound system of the four models, and come furnished with a pull-out piano lid. Further from that, this Yamaha-designed digital instrument offers the rich and sublime sound of the Yamaha CFX concert grand piano as well as ten extra sounds, and the eased operation of a set of accessible controls, making this a perfect intermediate or student level piano. Two headphone outputs have also been fitted so that student and teacher are able to rehearse without bothering the neighbours, and using a smartphone or tablet, the free Smart Pianist app can be downloaded and coupled to the piano to gain access to an expanded range of options and study aids.
