Developed to offer pianists the same configuration and action of a genuine grand piano alongside the breathtakingly realistic sound of the highly renowned Yamaha CF3S concert grand, the Yamaha N2 Avant Grand shatters the digital piano concept. The physical internal mechanics have been developed exclusively for this model to ensure a level of responsiveness and expressive scope that comes as close as it gets to the real thing - from pianissimo to fortisissimo - from a single note to swift trills. Meanwhile, the astonishing quality of the four-point sampling technique used to capture the sound of the Yamaha CF3S is fully supported by an extensive four-channel multi speaker system that produces enveloping, lifelike audio.

The Yamaha N2 Avant Grand

Besides the sound of the Yamaha CF3S, the N2 Avant Grand provides a further four different sounds, each backed up by high a 256 polyphony rating to support unhindered playing. An integrated SMF format recorder can be used to capture performances, ideas and compositions which can then be saved to a USB stick; two headphone outputs have been fitted for practising in silence - even during lessons; and the Avant Grand can also be linked to a computer or a USB/MIDI interface to control MIDI instruments. All of this technology is seamlessly, and near-invisibly wrapped up inside a sleek cabinet finished in high-gloss black.
