The versatile Tortion JFET overdrive

The EHX Tortion gives new meaning to the word versatile. Use the 4-way pre gain knob in combination with the gain knob and the 3-band tone controls of the pedal, and you’re able to produce an arsenal of tasty overdrives. Using the boost foot switch, which activates a gain boost at a separate gain and volume level, you can even add a second channel to the Tortion. That means you’re able to quickly switch between two overdrive/distortion sounds you often use.

Preamp options

The EHX Tortion can be used as a preamplifier pedal as well. Use the XLR output instead of the regular jack output to send a balanced signal to a mixer, for instance.
