General

This Sweet Honey Overdrive by mad Professor is a dynamic overdrive pedal that reacts exceptionally well to virtually any guitar pickup imaginable. The amount of distortion is determined by the amplifier setup, the type of pickup on your guitar and your own personal playing style. With a clean amp, the SHOD will deliver a delightfully light overdrive. Should your amp be set to drive, the Sweet Honey will give it an extra push. You can hear how the pedal responds to different types of guitars (ST, TE, LP) in the videos.

Operation

As is the case with most overdrive pedals, the SHOD is very easy to use. Adjust the output volume using the volume control, and the gain level with the drive knob. A unique feature of this pedal is its focus knob, which determines how the pedal responds to your guitar playing. The more you turn it to the left, the harder you need to play to achieve a driven/distorted sound. Turn it to the right for a drive/distortion effect with little effort. This pedal features durable knobs, a straightforward layout, and a clear LED indicator.

Uitstekend pedaal, maakt waat wat het belooft. Heel touch-sensitief. Genoeg gain voor wie niet teveel nodig heeft. Geeft die typische oversturing sound, breed inzetbaar voor diverse muziekstijlen of als always-on. Kwalitatief boutique pedaal. Ook geschikt als stack pedaal.

Heerlijk pedaal. Geeft een lekkere punch en reageert super op je aanslag. Met een Strat een fijne en wat romige overdrive. Met een LP kan het ook lekker scheuren. Kwaliteit, dat merk je aan alles.

Fantastische overdrive. Het pedaal reageert prachtig op de heftigheid van je aanslag. Van een licht randje op je tone tot full-out romige overdrive zonder ook maar iets te veranderen aan de instelling van je pedaal. Met focus en drive op 3 uur (drie kwart) krijg je een echte hardrock scheur, terwijl de focus op 9 uur (kwart) juist zorgt voor een donkere soulful lead tone. In deze prijsklasse zijn er weinig overdrives die zo goed zijn als deze Sweet Honey Overdrive.
