Part of the Character Plus line-up, the Tech 21 Screaming Blonde seamlessly mashes up the sound of an American-made blonde valve amp with Tube-Screamer-style overdrive to complete a potent cocktail of a stompbox. This pedal packs even more tone-shaping tools than the original SansAmp Character models thanks to the hefty bank of eleven control pots and a three-footswitch layout.

The Tech 21 Screaming Blonde: Legendary USA Sound From Every Era + OD

Via the massive set of control pots, legendary American-made sound from pretty much every era can be dialled in. An equalizer section, a Character pot per channel, a Drive pot per channel, and even a speaker simulation per channel has been supplied for tweaking everything in sharp detail. Toggle the overdrive on and off via the Scream footswitch mounted in the middle, switch between channels A and B via the footswitch on the right and kick everything off via the Bypass footswitch on the left.
