Korg's Kaoss Pads are wildly popular and are used both on stage and in the studio by DJs and musicians all over the world. Samples kun je onbeperkt stapelen en verspreiden over de 4 banken. Tevens kun je meerdere banken samenvoegen op een bank en zo weer banken vrijmaken voor nieuwe samples en geluiden.
Alle samples en sets kunnen op een geheugenkaartje worden gezet en zijn later weer terug te zetten op de Kaoss Pad waardoor er eigenlijk geen limiet is aan het aantal samples of sample banken.

Goed apparaat! Ik ben een onconventionele "dj", ik gebruik namelijk alleen Spotify! Er zitten vergelen met de KP3+ weinig effecten op, en het combineren van effecten is in de KP3+ ook grotendeels gecoverd, een aantal programma's zijn combinaties van verschillende effecten. De Quad is in mijn ogen echt voor de leuk, inderdaad leuke lampjes, maar ook niet meer. Daar betaal je dan wel 185 euro voor.
Mijn advies, tast wat dieper in de buidel en ga voor de KP3+. Zowat alle mogelijke effecten zitten erin, plus een aantal synthesizer geluiden wat soms erg tof kan zijn. Zo heb je toch een beetje Kaossilator (overig ook een overbodig product nu KORG de app voor de iphone en ipad heeft uitgebracht) in je bezit! Plus nog eens de mogelijkheid om serieus te sampelen, en eventueel op te slaan op een SDHC.
Ik kan met volle overtuiging zeggen dat de KP3+ een aanvulling is voor elke DJ! Dit apparaat blijft zelfs nu in de MIDI en controller tijd koning en onvervangbaar!
De laatste ster blijft alleen uit omdat er niet heel veel anders is vergeleken met de KP3, maar ach, je kan niet alles hebben.
