A media player is nothing without a mixer. That's why Denon DJ have developed the X1800 Prime, a 4-channel mixer with all the features you could possibly desire! As far as design is concerned, it looks like any other mixer with a 3-band EQ, filter and sweep FX controls per channel, a section for your mics, and a section on the right that's almost completely dedicated to time effects. ... Table complète, rien à redire ... La qualité du son est déjà plus discutable, médiums agressifs, protégez vos oreilles, manque de définition sur la globalité du spectre ... Le paramètrage des effets est assez pointu et intéressant pour créer des transitions originales, le repérage par leds sur les voies est un atout vraiment intéressant ... Le son qui sort est beaucoup moins "rond" qu'une DJM, beaucoup plus "plausif", ça fatigue vite durant une session de quelques heures ... Vu le prix de la table on ne peut pas être exigeant mais l'argument 24 bits / 96 Khz est surfait, la table manque cruellemement de définition et de chaleur en terme de rendu. Son ergonomie, sa prise en main est indiscutable, la qualité du son par contre est carrément à revoir ... important / Test effectué avec des SL 1200 MK2 en vinyl, CDJ PIONEER et SC5000M sans PC la sensation est la même hélas quleque soit la source ...

Deze mixer heb ik nu een paar weken in bezit en al meermaals ingezet. De mogelijkheden die je met deze mixer hebt zijn vele malen uitgebreider dan de huidige clubstandaard van Pioneer. Voor alle ins en outs kan je het beste de product reviews kijken of youtube maar een aantal dingen wil ik toch even uitlichten.
Het Wash Out effect is echt subliem en ik betrap mij er zelf op dat ik deze dan ook veelvuldig gebruik.
Wanneer ik dan weer op de 900 nexus of iets vergelijkbaars draai mis ik dit effect nu al.
De mogelijkheid om je cue buttons de zelfde kleur te laten zijn al de decks op de SC5000M is ook een dikke toevoeging. Het zijn maar ledjes, dat klopt. Maar als je met 2 SC5000M’s op 4 kanalen draait is dit echt een pre. Verder de mogelijkheid om een effect aan een specifiek kanaal toe te wijzen is iets wat in het begin wennen is maar na verloop van tijd ook als dikke pre beschouwd kan worden. En uiteraard de frequency response in te kunnen stellen van je effecten is een zeer welkome toevoeging. Dit ding voelt aan als een tank en is meer dan geschikt voor clubs, verhuur of in de vaste setup. Als laatste de gigantische hoeveelheid instellingen die je kan aanpassen, zie bijvoorbeeld de mogelijkheid tot het instellen van interne limiter op de master out.
Denon heeft nu een product op de markt heeft gezet wat vooruitstrevend is en werkelijk gebouwd is voor de DJ. Er is door Denon uitgebreid gekeken naar wat er al bestond en wat een welkome toevoeging zou zijn op de hedendaagse mixers. Op dit gebied is nu eindelijk concurrentie ontstaan met Pioneer en ik denk dit voor beide partijen goed is om hier van bewust te zijn. Wat een fantastisch toestel is dit!!! Dit mag voor mij de nieuwe standaard worden in de clubs. Voel me er beter bij dan met zijn concurrent.

Heb deze sinds gisteren (1 dag) en voelt heel natuurlijk, heel intuïtief aan. Ongelooflijk mooi geluid met ontelbare mogelijkheden. Dit toestel is voorzien van voldoende ruimte waardoor je dus ook zeer snel vertrouwd bent met de layout. De effecten zijn echt zalig. Filters klinken super.

Ook wat betreft bouwkwaliteit voel je dat je een meer dan degelijk en stevig toestel in je bezit hebt.

Wat betreft de prijs vind ik het persoonlijk wel een meevaller aangezien de mogelijkheden. Mogelijkheid om 2 laptops aan te sluiten, 2 mics, 2 headphones, extern effecten toestel, ....

Super product en dus ook zeer tevreden.
