General
With the GE2-E825TK-BK, Gretsch Drums has delivered a drum kit for starters who want to seriously rock out. This 5-piece drum kit consists of a rugged 22-inch bass drum, two toms of 10 and 12 inches respectively, a 16-inch floor tom and a matching 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum. With their Energy series, Gretsch offers professional features for an attractive price. The shells of this GE2 Energy kit are made of 7-ply poplar, ensuring an excellent tone. The toms, with their triple-flanged hoops and 30-degree bearing edges, produce an open sound - ideal for drummers who want to go that extra mile.
Gretsch Drums GE2 Energy: a solid setup
In order to produce an optimal tone, drum shells need to be able to resonate freely. To that end, this Gretsch Drums GE2 Energy drum kit is equipped with special miniature lugs. They enable the toms to resonate effectively, resulting in an open tom sound with prolonged sustain. That's how you create that inimitable Gretsch sound!
A remarkably complete starter drum kit
This 5-pieced drum kit comes with a complete cymbal set and the required hardware, as well as a bass drum pedal and a stable drum stool. The three cymbals - a 14-inch hi-hat, a 16-inch crash and a 20-inch ride - can be mounted on matching stands with double-braced legs. The cymbals are part of the SBR series from top manufacturer Sabian and add a clear tone to the drum kit. Professional features such as memory locks and fully adjustable bass drum legs make this high-quality drum kit an ideal choice for enthusiastic starters.
