Bundling up a seven-piece drum microphone set, two high stands for the overheads, one short stand for the kick drum mic, a full set of cables, an extensive audio interface, and even a set of headphones, this generous pack kits out any entry-level engineer, producer, or band with a tight drum recording solution in one neat shot. Overall the mic's are fine. They do their job perfectly well. However, I bought two sets of the mic's because my son has a large drum kit (7 drums 7 cymbals plus extra's), so needed enough mic's to cover everything....with a few to spare. Unfortunately, both pairs of overhead head mic's (in both sets) don't work....at all! They simply don't pick anything up. We tried changing the leads, and using leads that worked with the tom and bass drum mic's, but nothing....from all them! Pretty disappointing really :( Bax on the other hand were excellent at getting the gear to us, and would definitely recommend them :)

The Innox mic stand is well made and looks very smart. I use it with a single Behringer C2 condenser microphone (mass (75g) when I sing and play acoustic guitar in online sessions and virtual open mics. It sits beside my laptop on a desk, and has taken the place of a very heavy drum mic stand. The adjusting wheel works pretty well, but someone with weakness in the hand or wrist might like a larger wheel. I'd only knock a third of a star off for this!
If the stand is fully extended at a steep angle like 70-90 degrees, it is difficult to knock over.
I tried the stand out with the fairly heavy (285g) Shure 58A with XLR cable connected, and it was stable even at 50 degrees to the horizontal. This is pretty good, after all, you have to take sensible care with even the most stable of floor mounted mic stands.
When placed on a table or desk top extended, the Innox stand extends enough to position the microphone halfway between the guitar's soundhole and your mouth. By standing 45-50cm away, you can achieve a good balance between voice and guitar even if you move slightly, so the stand can also be used for home recordings.

This is a great piece of kit. It is class-compliant and works perfectly with iPads and iPhones through the Apple camera connection kit, giving you 8 analog inputs and 10 digital inputs (8 ADAT and SPDIF), along with 20 outputs. All of these are available to the iOS device so your iPad can be the centre of a serious studio. Has 2 Midas preamps that sound very clear to me and latency is imperceptible. Also has MIDI I/O that also works just fine with the iPad. It would be nice if it had an iOS app for adjusting levels and ADAT routing, but that can be done through a 3rd party mixer app - I use it with AUM.
