ProMark RBH595AW Yellow Rebound 5B Drum Sticks

At Promark, they are constantly developing new sticks. With the Select Balance series, three standard models have been modified with a different weight distribution. In the RBH595 Rebound Balance, the shoulder has been stretched long, causing the stick's centre of gravity to be more rearward. This gives the stick more rebound, allowing for more subtlety and clarity of play. Its counterpart, incidentally, is the Forward model with more weight at the front for more power and speed.

Hickory with drop tip

These sticks are made of hickory, the most commonly used type of wood for drumsticks because of its good weight-to-wear ratio. The tip has a drop shape with a large contact surface. This means they give a full, dark sound on drums, but especially on cymbals. With a 5B thickness, they are all-round useful, but are a bit thicker than a 5A and therefore deliver a bit more volume.
