The Vic Firth STG2 snare drum sticks have a shape that is a bit longer than the usual 5A drum sticks, and a uniquely shaped tip that makes it possible to make your double strokes and similar strokes very precise. The persimmon (ebony) material adds more weight and extra density. The term "Leggiero" refers to an Italian musical term which, when given as an indication, indicates that one will have to play lightly.
