Looking for a solid pair of drumsticks that allow you to play musical passages quickly, lightly and precisely? Vic Firth, in collaboration with timpanist Tim Genis, has manufactured a pair of drumsticks that make this possible. The Vic Firth STG2 snare drum sticks have a shape that is a bit longer than the usual 5A drum sticks, and a uniquely shaped tip that makes it possible to make your double strokes and similar strokes very precise. The persimmon (ebony) material adds more weight and extra density. The term "Leggiero" refers to an Italian musical term which, when given as an indication, indicates that one will have to play lightly. These STG2 snare drumsticks by Vic Firth help immensely in this regard.
