General
SE Electronics and Honer have joined forces to sculpt and hone the perfect harmonic microphone: the HB52. Developed by an esteemed panel of professional harp players to ensure breathtaking sound and matching ergonomics. The shape of this mic feels snug and can be cupped with ease, while the volume control has been fitted in just the right place so it can be adjusted with the palm of your hand. Usefully, the volume knob can also be bypassed, removing any fear of unwanted level adjustments during more energetic passages. Inside the HB52, the capsule has been calibrated to shape the kind of sound that makes you think of the blues masters of old, while the input impedance is comparable to that of an electric guitar, so using a standard XLR to jack lead, you can even hook this microphone up to a guitar amp.

Na jaren een Astatic JT30, deze aangeschaft.
De Harp Blaster ligt beter in de hand omdat hij kleiner is, met de zelfde look en feel als een Astatic.
Zeer degelijk uitgevoerd.

Na jaren met grotere bulletmicrofoons en 'zang'microfoons te hebben gespeeld, is deze kleine Hohner een verademing; veel beter te hanteren (mn bij live optredens), makkelijker 'geluidsdicht' te maken voor een betere sound. En de sound uit deze Hohner is geweldig, zelfs zonder aanpassingen op de versterker of het gebruik van pedals. Een aanrader voor de serieuze (blues-) harmonica speler.
