General
The legendary Shure SM57 is a versatile, high-grade microphone that can be used to record amplified instruments, but also clearly reproduces drums and percussion. Its cardioid pickup pattern reduces background noise, as it mostly captures the sound in front of it, while sound coming from the back and sides is largely ignored. Its 40Hz - 15kHz frequency range was optimised for instruments such as harmonica, saxophone, brass, percussion and amplified (bass) guitar.
Like all Shure products, the SM 57 combines outstanding quality, reliability and ease of use. Add to that an impressive list of specifications, and you know you have a fantastic microphone for audio engineers and producers on your hands.

To be fair you can’t go wrong with an sm57 but Bax was great, really well priced (don’t buy cheap, chances are it’s a fake and sounds nasty) and speedy delivery and well packaged. Thanks!

Zeer tevreden over het geluid wat hij opneemt maar, ik heb wel last van een 50hz brom. Alleen als ik de mic in mijn handen houdt en op een bepaalde plek ga zitten dan wordt het minder. Niet helemaal weg. Ik begrijp inmiddels dat, dat aan een hele boel dingen kan liggen, maar ik heb de oorzaak nog niet gevonden. Toch vier sterren van mij 👌🏻

Ik kocht deze microfoon om gitaaropnames te doen.
Op hetzelfde moment kocht ik er ook vab TEMU om te vergelijken. Ik was wel eens benieuwd naar het verschil.
Je merkt al snel wel het verschil in de kwaliteit van de constructie van de microfoon. De originele voelt sowieso steviger en is ook intern gevuld met een emulsie die je niet hebt in de namaak.
Het geluid zelf dien ik nog te testen en te analyseren maar daar ben ik nog niet toe gekomen.
In ieder geval deze originele is een topproduct en zal me niet teleurstellen.
Op hetzelfde moment kocht ik er ook vab TEMU om te vergelijken. Ik was wel eens benieuwd naar het verschil.
