General
Reporters take heed! Do you want to enjoy Sennheiser quality in a full-fledged reporter microphone? The MD 42 is what you need! This microphone picks up sound all around the capsule, so that you won't have to shove it in anyone's face to get their voice to register.
The MD42 and its wind-avoiding behaviour
The MD 42's construction is made to counter wind noise and ambient sound. It lets the wind pass through the mic head, but without the capsule suffering from it. Handling noise is also ideally suppressed thanks to the capsule, which is suspended in rubber.
