Zildjian's A0621 Oriental Crash of Doom is a unique 20-inch crash cymbal with a sound that lies somewhere between a crash, a china and a ride, making it suitable for a wide range of music styles. Its sound can best be described as dark, ultra-trashy and low with lots of sustain and an impressive volume. Zildjian came up with the Oriental Crash of Doom after Dennis Chambers challenged them to make an exceptionally trashy-sounding cymbal like one he'd found in China. This crash cymbal that is made of B20 alloy has been hammered by hand and has a thin weight with a traditional finish.

Wat een beest!! Kan ook niet anders met zo'n naam. Afwerking vind ik zelf geweldig. Lekker gehamerd, krom en toch netjes afgewerkt. De klank is tussen crash en China in. Maar door de dikte wel heftiger dan bv. een variant met dezelfde klank eigenschappen van een ander merk. Je zou hem zelfs als ride kunnen gebruiken. Dikke aanrader deze zware jongen!!
