D'Addario XSB45100 Regular Light, Long Scale Coated Bass Strings

General

With the D’Addario XSB45100 XS Nickel Bass, you can give your 4-string long-scale bass guitar a powerful, balanced tone. This Regular Light set comprises four strings with a gauge range of .045 to .100 inches: a fine balance between immediate response and comfortable playability. The updated nickel-plated steel winding combines brightness with punch, whilst the ultra-thin XS coating ensures a smooth playing feel and a longer lifespan. This means you can opt for durability without compromising on brightness or response. Whether you like to lay down heavy bass lines or play more subtly, this roundwound set is suitable for all genres.

Revised construction, familiar playing feel

D’Addario has also put a lot of thought into these strings beneath the coating. The ratio between the core and the winding has been re-tuned, resulting in a versatile tone and pronounced overtones. The familiar playing feel is retained. The NY High Carbon Steel cores also offer greater breaking strength and better tuning stability than standard bass strings. This XSB45100 set for 4-string long-scale bass guitars is manufactured at D’Addario’s own production facility in New York. You’ll receive the four strings in recyclable, resealable VCI packaging. The packaging also features a code which, once registered, allows you to earn Players Circle points. This shows that thought has gone into the packaging and includes a little extra bonus.
