The DR Strings DDT5-55 Drop Down Tuning retain their intonation at the lowest tunings thanks to Coated Core Technology allowing you to reproduce lower pitch notes that are clean, clear and tuned. String thicknesses range from .055 to .135, and these strings for 5-string electric bass guitar are specially designed for bassists who use drop-down tuning. Change your tuning smoothly and you'll be surprised how easily this set of strings adjusts instantly. You don't have to fear an impure sound because these strings won't let you down. Apart from providing stability, the coating also prolongs the life of the strings.
