This full pack of Sadowsky Black Label Nickel Taperwound 40-125 bass guitar strings includes an extra B-string, setting them up for five-string models, and since the B-string has been taper wound so that the thinner end rests on the bridge saddle, the action feels a touch lighter. The hex-shaped steel core of each string has been wound with nickel, which has a smoother feel, lower finger-noise and warmer tone when compared to steel wound strings. These strings are ideal for any electric bass models with a top-loader bridge. Note that they are not compatible with basses with a string-through-body construction.
