The Sadowsky Silver Label Bass String Set Nickel Taperwound 45-130 string set contains five strings for electric bass guitar. With already quite solid diameters of .045 to .130 inches, they are suitable for heavier rock work, with powerful grooves and tight riffs. The strings consist of a hexagonal core with nickel windings around it that provide a full and warm sound, with rounded highs. The surface is also very smooth which makes these strings feel very soft and comfortable. The thickest string (B) is taperwound, the windings are thinner where they cross the bridge, allowing it to vibrate more freely and thus produce more sound. You can only use the strings of this set for bass guitars with a toploader bridge, they are not suitable for string through body mounting.

These strings are not suitable for basses where the strings run through the body (string through body).
