The Sadowsky Silver Label Bass String Set Stainless Steel Taperwound 40-125 set contains five strings for electric bass guitar, all with stainless steel windings around a hexagonal core. These strings give your bass a bright sound with defined treble and a tight midrange, ideal for fast, funky bass lines and slapping. The B string is taperwound; the windings are thinner at the point where the string meets the bridge. This allows the string to vibrate more freely and sound deeper, while not being higher compared to the other strings. This string set is suitable for basses with a toploader bridge, so not for string through body mounting.

These strings are not suitable for basses where the strings run through the body (string through body).
