The Sadowsky Silver Label Bass String Set Nickel Taperwound 40-125 is a balanced 5-string set for electric bass guitar with diameters from .040 to .125 inches and nickel windings around a hexagonal, steel core. They give your bass a rounded, warm tone, with a wide midrange and subtle treble. The B string is taperwound, the windings thinner where it crosses the bridge. This results in better resonance, and it also ensures that the string does not rise higher than the thinner strings. You can use this set on all basses with a top loader bridge, they are not suitable for string through body mounting.
