General
The Sadowsky Blue Label Guitar String Set Stainless Steel Flatwound 11-48 is a flatwound string set for electric guitar, with medium diameters from .011 to .048 inches. The flat windings (flatwound) make the strings feel smooth and supple, playing comfort is very high, even in long sessions. The sound is also influenced by the winding: these strings have a very characteristic sound, with rather short sustain and strong articulation, even at low volume. This makes them especially suitable for clean playing in styles such as jazz, pop and funk. Stainless steel is a material that offers especially clear treble and a sharp midrange, the strings also last a long time and stay in tune very well.
