With the Warwick EMP Coated 38301 M 5B Stainless Steel Low B 45-135 set, you give your 5-string electric bass a durable maintenance: these strings last extra long thanks to the protective coating, which repels dirt and prevents corrosion. The strings all have a hexagonal core surrounded by roundwound windings of stainless steel. That material ensures a clear sound with pronounced midtones that will come into its own in just about all styles of music. The low B is slightly thinner at the bridge (tapered) so that it gets enough room to vibrate and the action remains pleasantly low.
