This Warwick EMP Coated 38400 ML 6 Stainless Steel 20-130 is a string set for 6-string electric bass guitar with B-E-A-D-G-C tuning. The strings consist of stainless steel windings around a hexagonal core wire, with the B string being slightly thinner at the bridge (tapered). This benefits the sound, as it gives the string more room to vibrate, and it also reduces the action. All strings in this set were given an EMP coating, an extra protective layer that you don't feel but which repels dirt and sweat and prevents corrosion.
