The C4 Deluxe from the Cort Artisan line comes dipped in a fresh, high-gloss paint-job, polishing off the modern body shape in supreme style. Contoured and rounded off in all the right places, the lightweight poplar body doesn't just lay down a solid and resonant foundation but supports comfy playability. The hard maple neck has been topped with a jatoba fretboard with a flat 15.75 inch radius and a set of twenty-four frets to support smooth and agile playability, while the stable MetalCraft M4 bridge packs out the balanced sound of this four-string with extended sustain.

The specific combination of maple and poplar make for a robust core sound framed by a prominent mid-range and plenty of punch and, to ensure dynamic and versatile amplification, Cort has selected a pair of MK-1 soapbar pickups designed by Bartolini, planted at the bridge and in the middle position. These pups have been teamed up with an active MB-1 preamp made by the iconic Italian bass-greats Markbass, ensuring a balanced and neutral output that, via the responsive three-band EQ controls can be fine-tuned in detail to explore a wide array of tonal profiles.
